A certificate has been making rounds online showing that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho terribly failed in his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education evaluation
– A section of Kenyans on Twitter made fun of him with some echoing the statement by Deputy President William Ruto who recently called Joho an academic dwa*f
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has finally come out to address claims that he performed dismally in KCSE.
Joho was prompted to set the record straight after a certificate popped online showing that he only managed to get a D- in his final secondary education evaluation back in 1993.
Through Mombasa County Director of Communications Richard Chacha, Joho on Wednesday, January 11 dismissed the certificate alluding that it was fake.
“His name is Hassan Ali Joho not Ali Hassan. That is fake,” said Chacha.
Joho’s academic credentials have raised doubts in the past and it has become a target for his rivals in a bid to cast doubt on his education background.
