Position: Energy Engineer
Location: Nairobi
Job Type- Contract Based.
Job description
Energy Engineer will evaluate energy use and designs energy programs that increase efficiency and reduce energy-related costs. The job holder will redesign processes, retrofit buildings and equipment, and plan energy-related systems for new projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform audits to evaluate energy use, costs, or efficiency
- Monitor and analyse energy
- Design energy efficiency projects and manage their implementation to ensure they meet deadlines, budgets, specifications, and legal
- Plan and renew energy initiatives for new construction, renovations, and retrofits that maximize energy
- Review plans for future projects to determine their feasibility and energy requirements.
- Write reports, work plans, and evaluation plans and submit them to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Architecture
- 3-5 Years’ experience on manufacturing environment with relevant experience.
- Effective technical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
