Langat: Ruto Stole My Pencils And Lunchbox In Primary School, He Started This Behavior Long Time Ago

Mr. Josephat Langat, who claims to be Ruto’s desk mate in primary school, has said that Ruto started the behavior of stealing long time ago and his pencils and lunchbox were the first casualties of his hobby.

He said he learned with DP Ruto in their early stages of education at Kerotet Primary School for his primary school education then joined Wareng Secondary School together.

Mr. Langat said that he purchased new pencils everyday but when he asked his desk mate Ruto if he had seen the pencils, but he would deny. Later he would secretly open up Ruto’s desk and would discover a number of stolen properties.

Recently DP Ruto has been at the center stage of many scandals which he says are politically driven to kill his 2022 presidential bid.

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua now says that Deputy President William Ruto has only himself to blame for his implication in almost every corruption scandal in the nation.

The DP has been finding himself at the center of most of these alleged sagas, a narrative that has since been adopted by his critics and turned into a weapon against him and his political plans.

Speaking on Radio Maisha Tuesday morning, Mutua said that though the latter might be innocent, he is being a victim of his dark history and previous corruption allegations.

He noted that Ruto was named in some very serious scandals in the past, which most likely made Kenyans to believe that he is corrupt, though he might not be.

He listed among others, the loss of money at the Kenya Ports Authority and an attempted grabbing of land at Uhuru Park in Nairobi during retired President Mwai Kibaki’s tenure.

(He has a dark history including the loss of money during the days of the YK 92 youth group which could be the reasons why Kenyans still suspect him),” he said.

YK 92 (Youth for Kanu 1992) was a powerful group tasked with the role of ensuring retired President Daniel Moi’s reelection in 1992 polls. It was led by former Minister Sirus Khwa Jirongo.

Also, he wondered why the DP and his footsoldiers are showing uneasiness and discomfort with the ongoing purge on graft, saying that it is attracting unnecessary attention.

“Watu wengi wanaandamwa kuhusu vita hivi dhidi ya ufisadi, mbona ni yeye tu anayelalamika? Mbona anajishuku?

(The purge is targeting a lot of people, so why the so uncomfortable?),” Mutua posed.
