Our Client a well established Safari Lodge & Hotel Company operating in Kenya and Uganda is looking to hire a Sales Executive to be based in Kenya.

Responsibilities

  • Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Update action plans and financial objectives monthly. Implements all sales action plans, Identify new markets / new account and business opportunities and increase sales.
  • Tracking and analysis of competitive set pricing and yield strategies, gaining the ability to predict the competition set reaction to changes in the market place.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving the hotels conference, wedding, team-building business as well as any other market segment assigned.
  • Targeting key accounts potential for the company, conducts daily sales calls visiting various corporates, Govt, NGO’s Embassy accounts is must.
  • Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business. Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients.
  • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients, and provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
  • Achieving monthly sales target is must.
  • Prepare and report on goals, sales, and prospects

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of 3 years in similar role is an asset
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; second language a plus
  • Experience with customer relationship tools.
  • Ability to travel & relocation shouldn’t be a problem.
