Treasury inviting your views about sharing of mineral royalties

National treasury is proposing the creation of a Mineral Royalties Collection Account for receiving all mineral royalties. The account will help facilitate the transfer of Mineral Royalties to the National Government, County Governments, and Communities. Treasury cabinet secretary Ukur Yatani is further proposing that 70 percent of all Mineral Royalties collected be transferred to the Consolidated Fund.
