Wednesday November 28, 2018 – Kenya Pipeline Corporation (KPC) chairman, John Ngumi, has been accused of engineering the removal of his Managing Director, Joe Sang, so that he can continue to loot billions of shillings from the State run institution.
Early this week, a local daily claimed that Joe sang oversaw the spillage of 23 million litres of oil from the Kisumu jetty.
But according to the KPC board, the story was peddled to the media by Ngumi who is a close associate of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A senior board member was overheard saying that Ngumi who is a patented thieve of public money, is manufacturing scandals and linking the MD to them so as to remove him as political allegiances take centre stage.
Joe Sang is believed to be an ally of the Deputy President while John Ngumi is allied to the President and his associates.
“Ngumi always brags that he is untouchable and nobody can arrest him even the President,” said the board member.
“He and his colleagues steal billions from the State run institution and nobody is questioning them. They brag that they have State House connections,” he added.
