KCB women’s volleyball team crowned KVF tournament champions

KCB women’s volleyball team were crowned winners of the Kitui County volleyball tournament after a hard three sets to two win over Kenya Prisons in a tough final played at Kitui High School grounds.

KCB won the first set 25-21 but resilient Prisons Kenya crawled back to bad the second set 25-23.  

Prisons won the third set 25-17 before losing the fourth set 17-25.  

KCB went on to win the fifth set 15-12 to bag the title.

Enroute to the finals Prisons Kenya trounced DCI by three straight sets while KCB ‘A’ humbled their counterparts KCB ‘B’ by three sets to two.

In the men’s category, GSU avenged their loss to Equity in the group stages to claim the title with an easy three straight sets win over the bankers.
