Kenyans have hit out at Chief Justice David Maraga, accusing him of protecting corrupt judges and misleading Kenyans during his attack on Uhuru.
In a hashtag that has stubbornly remained at the top of trending topics on social media platforms today, #WhoMaragaIsProtecting, Kenyans called out the President of Supreme Court for what they referred to as hypocrisy.
The hashtag exposed several judges listed among the 41 judges that Maraga is pushing on President Uhuru.
On Friday, June 12, residents in Nairobi woke up to mysterious banners of Chief Justice David Maraga plastered along major roads in the city.
The posters were put on a flyover along the Thika Superhighway as well as other roads in the Central Business District (CBD). The banners that left many bewildered alluded to a big exposé on the President of the Supreme Court.
“Why is Maraga Protecting These Judges?” the message in the banners read in part.
Kenyans are known of making lemonade out of lemons anytime they are jabbed with a few, they did not spare this one either.
