– Bruno Fernandes could be paired with Paul Pogba for the first time when the season resumes
– Fernandes has hit the ground running since his arrival at Old Trafford in January
– Pogba, on the other hand has been sidelined for months with recurring injuries
– United are scheduled to kick off their restart with an away trip to Tottenham Hotspur
Bruno Fernandes has spoken for the first time about being partnered with Paul Pogba in the midfield.
Fernandes is yet to play alongside Pogba since his January move to Man United from Sporting Lisbon, with his arrival coinciding with the Frenchman’s injury layoff.
However, with Pogba back in training having shook off his ankle problem, fans are excited about his imminent paring with Bruno in the middle of the park.
The duo’s partnering has been touted as a formidable one, with football pundits contending it could fire United to a whole new level.
Whereas Bruno has already hit the ground running at Old Trafford, the same cannot be said of Pogba who has missed the better of the 2019/20 season.
But all signs point at the possibility of the two playing together when United resume action with an away trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, June 19.

And speaking ahead of the potential link up, Fernandes exuded his excitement admitting ‘it will be amazing.’
“We are so excited to restart the season and play again. I think everyone is excited to see Paul Pogba play again after his long injury,” the Portuguese told talkSPORT.
“For me, playing alongside him will be amazing, obviously everyone wants to play with the best players and Paul is one of them,” he added.
