High Court Judge Justice Diana Mochache has postponed the plea taking against embattled police officer Ahmed Rashid to allow her address issues raised by parties.
The matter was coming up for the officer to be charged but his lawyer Danstan Omari raised an issue of jurisdiction which he said the court had not addressed before plea taking.
The file was previously handled by Justice Kanyi Kimondo who handed over to his colleague to handle the matter.
Justice Mochache said that if there are issues that parties want the court to address the same should be communicated to the court in the earliest date before the matter comes for directions on 29th March 2023.
She consequently extended the bail bond police issued to Ahmed until then.
The officer is said to have shot two boys in Eastleigh area with Kamukunji subcounty in 2017
