DP Ruto Top Aide Dies Days After Making Headlines

Chief of staff at the office of Deputy President William Ruto is dead.

Ken Osinde passed away at a Nairobi hospital, according to the Standard Digital.

The cause of death was, however, not revealed.

“It is true we have lost him. Family will issue a comprehensive statement later today (Friday),” a source was quoted by the publication.

Exactly two weeks ago, Osinde made headlines after the DP dispatched him to represent him at the the annual Devolution Conference.

However, governors refused to be addressed by him, saying he was such a meeting cannot be listen to “small people”.

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya said the decision by the second in command not to attend the convention and instead send his emissary amounted to disrespect.
