Ulinzi Stars striker Enosh Ochieng will not need to share part of his KSh 250,000 top prize for finishing as the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League top scorer.

However, a late decision by the KPL’s Independent Disciplinary Complaint and Appeals Committee (IDCAC) on Thursday, August 22, slashed two goals off his season tally.

This meant there were three joint top scorers last season; Ulinzi’s Enosh Ochieng, Sofapaka’s Umaru Kasumba and Kakamega Homeboyz’s Allan Wanga.

Ochieng also won a similar amount during the KPL gala, but it is not yet known of the decision the league runners will take after the ruling by their own independent body.

The decision also saw Ulinzi drop to 10th on the log after they were awarded the game against Mount Kenya 2-0.
