Harambe Starlets will play an International Friendly against Albania on April 11, 2023, in Tirana.
Starlets missed the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament which was staged in Morocco because of the ban imposed by Fifa over Governments interference in the Federations affairs.
Uganda were given a bye after the federation said that they were not ready to host the match whose winner was to represent the East Africa in Morocco.
The tournament in the North African Nation was also to be used for the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers.
This is the first international engagement for the Starlets in over a year after the FKF’s suspension by FIFA.
Albania is ranked 78 places above Kenya in FIFA Women’s ranking.
The federation has appointed KCB Assistant Coach Geoffrey Oduor as the new coach and he is set to name the squad in the course of the week.
The team reports to camp on March 30, 2023, and leaves for Albania on April 8, 2023.
