Is It a Done Deal For The Impeached Kisumu County Speaker, Onyango Oloo Risks Finding Himself In More Trouble

The recently impeached Kisumu County Assembly Speaker Onyango Oloo due to gross misconduct risks finding himself completely out of his political party citing the meeting between the newly elected acting speaker Elisha Oraro and the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

According to the Kisumu County Ward Representatives, the meeting between the ODM leader Raila Odinga and the newly elected acting Kisumu County Speaker Elisha Oraro clearly indicated that Onyango Oloo should be on exit door.

The Kisumu County assembly members did not hesitate to make assumptions about the meeting between Raila and Oraro saying it was an approval that Raila supports Oraro’s leadership in the county.

The other county assembly members who used to closely work with the impeached Onyaango Oloo have now withdrawn their support on him and declared to find a way to work with the newly elected acting speaker before they find themselves in the wrong side of the party.

Onyango Oloo could find himself in deep trouble in the near future following a letter from the ODM party demanding him (Onyango Oloo) to apologise and withdraw his claims.

Onyang Oloo accused the party for sacking him because he raised a question over internal expenditure by the top party officials.

The party lawyer is said to have demanded an immediate apology from the ex-oficial or face legal action over his claims that bribery and kickbacks marred some procurement activities.

This might be an interesting story going forward since the party in question is keen to clean its name and image over Onyango’s claims.
