KenGen Ambassadors Trained On Online Brand Advocacy



For many years, Kenyan energy giants KenGen, have focused on employee-led innovation as one of their major ways of positioning the company as one of the best in the continent.

In an increasingly mobile market, brand advocacy is rapidly changing from a public relations bonus to a fundamental marketing tactic.

The surge in mobile technology means consumers are now constantly connected to the digital market, making decisions with the touch of a button, and with a shorter attention span; making online brand advocacy become a crucial tool.

In line with this, KenGen’s company’s brand ambassadors have been attending classes organized by the  Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) on online brand advocacy and how they can use various online platforms to tell the largest power producing company in the country and grow its brand on the interwebs.
