1. Babu Owino: Emotions run high on social media after DJ Evolve’s heartbreaking story

Kenyans have taken to social media to pour out their hearts over the story of Felix Orinda popularly known as DJ Evolve who was shot at a club by Embaskasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino.

This is after a story of the DJ was aired which showed the pitiable state in which he was in after the MP shot him in the neck.

2. Woman cries outside Milimani Law Courts, claims Chief Justice Maraga is a deadbeat father

A woman has caused a stir at Milimani law Courts in Nairobi after she went into wild wailing claiming she has a child with Chief Justice David Maraga who abandoned them.

The lady identified as Mary Kwamboka Onyancha claimed that after Maraga sired a child with her, he took off and left her with the parenting burden.

3. Woman dies two months after posting about dying during lockdown

The family and friends of a young Nigerian lady identified as Chinenye George Sandra have been thrown into mourning following news of her death.

Barely two months before her death, the young lady had made a post about dying during the lockdown.

4. COVID-19 cases hit 6,366 as 176 more test positive

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country on Tuesday, June 30, jumped to 6,366 after 245 more people tested positive for coronavirus.

A total of 26 more people had been discharged raising the number of recoveries from 2,013, while death toll had, however, increased to 148 from 144 after some four more patients succumbed to the respiratory disease.
