KURA announces Traffic disruption in Nairobi – Weekly Citizen


Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a three day traffic disruption along Eastern bypass.

According to the agency, this is to allow the contractor to lay the final surface at the section between Administration Police College and Benedicta junction (Lexo petrol station).

“We wish to notify the general public that there will be traffic disruption along Eastern bypass as from 6am Monday 6th till 6am Wednesday 8th Feb 2023, ” the agency’s statement reads.

Consequently, motorists have been encouraged to use Outer Ring and Kangundo road as alternative routes to minimize traffic at Utawala-Benedicta junction section.

KURA also advises motorists to drive with caution as they approach the said section.

However, traffic marshalls and police officers will be deployed to guide motorists for smooth flow of traffic.
