Taking to his official Facebook account on Sunday, March 10, the preacher picked issue with Citizen TV boss Linu Kaikai who had claimed men of God needed to observe the law of the land.

As reported by a cross section of the Kenyan media earlier, Kaikai urged the government to regulate churches, their pastors and ensure they have relevant papers such as certificates of good conduct and university degrees.

Kaikai used Rwanda as an example claiming just like the country, the government should not allow the so called preachers on the pulpit before presenting their theology studies degrees.

In a quick rejoinder barely two days after Kaikai’s statement, Nganga strongly differed with the journalist and asked him to keep off matters that do not concern him.

The pastor admitted he is not learned and that he does not need any degree to spread the word of God.

Nganga demanded that Kaikai should respect pastors and let them work the best way they can without bringing in propagandas to hinder them.

” I do not know how to read and write but today I want to talk about something. First I want to thank those who cannot read, we will not be stopped from getting to heaven because we do not have degrees. Saying that preachers who do not have degrees should be banned is totally wrong. And for that news anchor, this is Kenya and not Rwanda, why are you talking like that, did all your brothers in Muranga go to school?” he said.

The preacher went ahead to warn Kaikai to deal with the bishops he has issues with and not all men of God.

He concluded by claiming no law will stop Kenyans from looking for a living.
