Manchester United has revealed its new home kit produced by Adidas and was made available for purchase on Thursday May 16.

The new kit is inspired by the Red Devils incredible 1998/99 season, 20 years back when they won the treble — the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League all in one season.

And boasting the new kit was Paul Pogba and David De Gea, two players who have been heavily linked with moves away from Old Trafford in the summer.

The new shirt has 90+1 and 90+3 printed on the sleeves to symbolise the goals scored by Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Bayern Munich in Barcelona.

The two goals inspired United’s comeback from 1-0 to win the epic Champions League final.

De Gea’s new kit is a replica of legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel’s 1998/99 tiger pattern but instead of green, it features a dark purple two tone design.

The kit will first be worn during the club’s commemorative Treble Reunion match at Old Trafford on Sunday May 26.

The first team will then don the new kit in their pre-season tour in Perth against Leeds United on Wednesday July 17.
