Azimio Leader Raila Odinga has insisted that the protests will continue until the government heeds to at least four of their demands.
Among the four demands the opposition is agitating for is the high cost of living, the opening of the IEBC servers and also stop the hiring of the IEBC Commissioners.
Addressing residents at Imara Daima along Mombasa Road, Raila demanded that the former four IEBC Commissioners also be allowed back to work.
“Hatutachoka mpaka cost of living iende Chini, mpaka server ifunguliwe na akina Cherera warudishwe kazi,” said Raila.
Security was heightened during Raila’s public address that seemed peaceful.
The Azimio convoy emerged from Imara Daima at around 1:30.
He is expected to go to Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums as well.
