A self proclaimed prophet now wants the government repeal Article 32 of the Kenyan Constitution.
Fredrick Kamau Mwangi alias ‘prophet’ Mduduki Ararat Star argues that the liberty of worship as granted in the constitution has seen the over mushrooming of places of worship that in turn solicit funds from the believers.
“The government must regulate the church so that we can stick to religion and not so many churches that are making money instead of proclaiming God’s kingdom,” said Mduduki.
Mduduki says that only government should adopt one national sect and do away with plethora of denominations that in his view has since subverted the the express orders God gave man on worship.
He further told Ghetto Radio scribe that revocation freedom of worship will subsequently corroborate universality of God’s kingdom that is united and not divided.
” They must adopt one way of worship because the kingdom of God is not divided as many denominations that have sprouted in world,” he added
The controversial ‘prophet’ confirms he is not indoctrinated to any sect or denominations and that he believes that God has no selected sect or fixed place of communion.
According to the article 32 of the constitution 2010, every person has the right to freedom of conscience, religion, thought, belief and opinion and no one shall be compelled to act, or engage in any act, that is contrary to the person’s belief or religion.
