Famous Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia popularly known by his stage name as Omah Lay has confirmed attendance at the Pizza and Wine Festival scheduled to take place on October 30, 2021, at Royal Gardenia Gardens Evergreen, Kiambu Road.

In a video posted on his social media pages, the Afro-pop star urges Kenyans to turn up in large numbers to have fun at the festival, probably one of the biggest festivals which will be held after the lifting of curfew in Kenya.

“Yoh what’s up Kenya, this is Omah Lay, and I’m gonna be performing at the Pizza and Wine Festival on the 30th of October. So come on out. Come out with your friends. Come let’s have fun. Alright?” the singer stated.

The festival whose dress code is said to be Kitenge will be graced by various artists such as Bensoul, Karun, Nikita Kering, Chris Kaiga, Nviiri The Storytelle and Kahush. More artists will be unveiled as the preparations are still underway by the organizers.

The event has left the fans enthusiastic as Omah Lay was earlier set to perform in August at Ngong Racecourse, but the event was put off due to the Covid-19 pandemic which had seen air travels cancelled, and international borders closed down. The Government had also banned all public gatherings; social and political gatherings.

The visiting of the ‘Godly’ hitmaker comes a year after he was arrested in the neighbouring Uganda for performing at a social event despite the Ugandan Government ban on social gatherings owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
