In a short video clip recorded during his address on International Youth Day on Monday, August 12, Uhuru who was in Kwale county posed midway during the speech and issued the instructions.

He even shifted from the official English language to sheng and waited for sometime to ensure his instructions have been well taken.

“Aaakhaaa, mtacut na mtasnip, eeh? (You will cut and snip) so I can just read that paragraph again, eeh?” he said.

The video clip was later edited and shared by State House via its Twitter handle.

Uhuru is not strange to making such hilarious utterances or being caught on camera giggling or goofing.

One of the recent remarks he made during a public address, and which is still fresh in the minds of many Kenyans is the Swahili phrase “upuzi uko hii Kenya ni mwingi sana.”

Uhuru made the remarks while disputing speculation that Huduma Namba was ‘satanic’.

The president has also caused a stir online with some photos that some netizens have satirically used as memes.
