The family of late veteran rapper Kunguru is appealing for help to clear pending hospital bills and to facilitate a proper send off for their loved one.
In a public appeal, the family reveals that they will be holding a fundraiser this coming Saturday 25th March, in Nairobi’s Upper Hill area, seeking funds to settle the hospital bill for their kin who passed away on Sunday afternoon.
“The family of the late Eric Kunguru aka Kunguru is appealing for your support to defray hospital bills and accord him a decent send-off,” reads the appeal in part.
The fundraiser is set to take place from 2pm-5pm at the Don Bosco Catholic Church room 8. Well-wishers have also been asked to send their contributions to Paybill Number 8373428.
Kunguru will be laid to rest in Alego, Siaya County on April 1st, 2023.

The news of Kunguru’s demise was shared by his former manager who revealed that the star passed away on Sunday 2.00pm at hospital where he had been admitted for a couple of weeks.
Big names in the industry have continued pouring their heartfelt condolences to the late rapper’s family, among them media personality Gidi Gidi and former Ogopa Deejays’signee Nameless who have described Kunguru as a good friend who was more like a brother.
Kunguru is best remembered for his famous song “Baby Don’t Go” featuring Mr. Lenny.
He started singing at a young age, although he rose to fame in 2006 when he released ‘African Woman’ featuring Mr. Lenny.
