Why Matiang’i Deported the Kiza Lounge Boss
The Kiza Lounge billionaire Ali Oumarou was deported over allegations that he is linked to international crime.
Nation Media reported on September 6, 2019, that the Kiza Managing Director was flown back to Nigeria as it is his home country.
Oumarou who jetted in the country in 2014, is the owner of the prestigious club located in the Kilimani Area in Nairobi City.
Oumarou the wealthy businessman faced deportation over allegations that he is wanted in other countries for involving himself in crime.
Wangui Michiri from Interior Ministry told the Nation Media that Oumarou’s operating with an expired work permit and they realized he was part of an international gang.
Ms. Muchiri, however, did not confirm whether the government will go for Oumarou’s properties.
Interior CS Fred Matiang’i and his counterparts stated that the government will support investors doing business in Kenya, as long as they operated within the confined laws.
