DP Ruto Goes on Ranting Spree as Uhuru Throws Him Out of Succession Matrix – LitKenya

Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday, 15th May, embraced social media as his platform to directly attack his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Dr Ruto was reacting to story published by the Star newspaper in which it was indicated that the President had promised to help one of opposition’s National Super Alliance (Nasa) co-principals clinch the top seat in next presidential race.

In the report, the Head of State, who was speaking to leaders from the Ukambani region, including Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, asked Nasa bosses to decide who they want him to back. The Nasa principals are Kalonzo, ODM chief Raila Odinga, ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi and Ford-Kenya’s Moses Wetangula.

“Steve (Kalonzo), listen to your people and what they are saying. Unite in Nasa then we shall see what will happen. Whatever you will agree on is what I will go with,” he said.

Taking to Twitter, the DP said the President was a disgrace to the eight millions Kenyans who elected him to lead the country.

He remarked that it was unfortunate for the Head of State to commit himself to supporting people who gave him nightmares.

EUCHO!!NGAI FAFA MWATHANI!! So, what happens to the Thurakus, the kumìrà kùmèrà contingent, the 8 million of us?? None, no youth, no woman, no man of the 8M who woke up early and voted 3 times for UK/WsR ticket merit support? Sawa tu! Tutajipanga na support ya MUNGU,” he said.

The second in command went ahead to condemn President Kenyatta for killing the Jubilee dream of uniting the country.

He accused him of promoting tribalism, an issue they had vowed to bump off in the country’s politics.

“So, was the destruction/dismembering of Jubilee, a national party, meant to pave way for support of regional/tribal parties in Nasa? Now, with the collapse of Jubilee, isn’t it fair for those who can’t fit in ethnic parties to build UDA as an alternative national party?” he posed to his fan base.
