Pursuant to a notice given by Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) On February 1, 2020, Olkaria Geothermal Spa adopted a cashless payment method. The spa is famous for its blue medicinal waters that leaves revelers who use it relaxed and satisfied.
Currently the spa has adopted payments through M-PESA or Credit/Debit Cards. This is to increase accountability and profitability such as to make the project viable financially. Moreover, the cashless project is meant to ensure a much faster customer service and easier management of finances.
