Kenya Baseball Association is expected this week to name a squad that will feature in the East Africa 2020 Tokyo Olympic qualifiers that will be held at Lenana School Nairobi starting 3rd to 4th next month.
This is after the end of a two day national trial that was held at Jamhuri grounds over the weekend.
The selected players are expected to steer Kenya to the Africa Olympic qualifiers in Johannesburg South Africa from 1st to 5th May, but they will have to navigate the regional East Africa qualifiers where they will face rivals Uganda and Tanzania.
Only two teams from Africa region will clinch the continental Olympic qualifier tickets where Africa has been allocated one slot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
