Eco Warriors, the first Educational mobile Game and Comic Book about Ecological Education for kids with a UNESCO Patronage., was named “Best Startup in Mauritius” for its innovative sustainable solution during the recent Seedstars Mauritius competition.
As a part of the prize, Eco Warriors will win an all-inclusive trip to the Seedstars Africa Summit and the chance to win a spot at the Seedstars Global Summit in Switzerland where the winner will take home a 500K USD investment prize. In addition, the winner will receive 3 months access to the investment readiness program.
The 8 startups pitched in front of a prestigious jury, including Muhamud Junaid Udhin,
FundKiss Technologies, focused on revolutionising the financing of Mauritian SMEs came second and AVR Plato Technology, a startup pioneering the use of augmented and virtual reality in classrooms across Africa, grabbed the last spot in the top 3. The other startups invited to pitch were Flit Ride, Nutri You Farm & Shop, Roomscout Ltd, Tutoo+, TutorMe Ltd and Property233.
Continuing on its world tour of fast-growing startup scenes in emerging markets, Seedstars World’s next stop is Harare at Impact Hub Harare, to select the best startup in Zimbabwe.
