Infinix Note 6 was first unveiled in mid-July 2019 and to our surprise, the device arrived sans Android One, quite the opposite of its predecessor, the Infinix Note 5.
Not long ago, we also reported about Google’s ARCore support coming to the Infinix Note 6 alongside the Tecno Phantom 9, a device that is expected to go head-to-head with the Note 6 here in Kenya.
While all this is happening, those in neighboring Uganda, for instance, can already walk into any Infinix retail partner and walk out with a brand new Infinix Note 6 handset. In fact, this has been the case for more than a month now, but the story is quite the opposite around here.
Infinix Note 6
Apparently, Infinix Note 6 won’t be available in Kenya anytime soon. According to Infinix Kenya (via Twitter), the Note 6 will take longer than anticipated to come to Kenya for unknown reasons.

As you can see, Infinix Kenya hasn’t given any particular reason causing the delayed launch of the Note 6 in the country. For fans of the Note series, the wait is still on, but we’ll keep an eye on this development and update this post when the phone begins selling locally.

Availability of one of its closest competitors, the Tecno Phantom 9, also got a slight delay compared to other markets like India and Nigeria, but it eventually arrived priced at Kshs 25,000.
