JOHO says UHURU might support his presidential bid in 2022 – He is very happy with my work in Mombasa

Sunday November 25, 2018-Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho, has said his close working relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta may bolster his presidential bid in 2022.


Joho ,who is ODM deputy Party leader ,is planning to vie for presidency in 2022 using the Orange party ticket.

For the last one week, Joho and Uhuru have been launching development projects in Mombasa and according to the maverick governor this will increase his chances of winning the presidency in 2022.

In one instance , Joho bragged how he is close to the presidency even revealing how he helped Kilifi Governor , Amason Kingi got his travel documents after he lost his passport at Rome International Airport.

“I am very influential. I am sitting next to the President, is it that not being influential?”  Joho posed.

Joho also noted that his bitter exchange with Mr Kenyatta is now in the past and they are now working as brothers from the same mother.
