The 2019 KCB Kenya National Rally Championship 4th round flag off ceremony kicked off Saturday at the KCB Kilifi Branch in Kilifi County.
Over 24 drivers are taking part.
First of the ramp was premier class driver Onkar Singh Rai navigated by Gareth Dawe on the VW Polo R5, which is the latest supercar to grace the eight-leg KCB KNRC.
The clerk-of-course Roy McKenzie said the running of some stages will be determined by the weather conditions.

“Rains have pounded the route course for this year’s rally and McKenzie said they will be forced tweak the itinerary in case rains persist,” Mr. McKenzie said.
The drivers started from Mombasa Cement stage on Friday.
The Kilifi KCB KNRC round has been organized by the Mombasa Motor Club (MMC).
The 2019 KNRC has been to Nakuru, Kajiado, and Naivasha which hosted the WRC Candidate Safari Rally.
