Sir Ali Club will leave nothing to chance today when they clash with top guns Kanbis in their sixth match of the ongoing Nairobi Invitational T20 League Super Division.
Having won four out of their five matches and placed second tied on 16 points with Swamibapa, Sir Ali will hope to capitalise on home advantage to overcome Kanbis who will be looking to maintain a 100 per cent win record. Sir Ali have made a good account of themselves and will be hoping that Kanbis don’t escape lightly.
They will count on Gagandeep Singh, Sandip Adole and Harrison Ambani to bowl out Kanbis batsmen. Hamza Khan, Vishal Kukade and Zahib Abbas will be relied on to score more runs and ensure they chalk their fifth win.
Tomorrow, Kanbis will take on perennial rivals Swamibapa who tackle Ngara today at Jamhuri High School.
Winless Stray Lions will intensify their hunt for victory when they take on Kongonis at Nairobi Club. Stray Lions who are fielding a young side in a quest to build a new team will tomorrow play Sir Ali at Sir Ali Club grounds.
Stray Lions’ Aman Gandhi will be hoping for a better day in office after being dismissed for a duck last Sunday in their 31 runs loss to Swamibapa.
