35 teenagers from Homa Bay Town nabbed by police in sex, drugs party

Police officers arrested thirty five teenagers after being found engaging in sexual activities in a rental house in Homa Bay Town on Friday 3 July.

The thirty five minors between the age of 13 and 17 who were caught in a house at Sango Estate in Homa Bay Town on Friday evening included 20 girls and 15 boys.

Arujo Location Chief Bob Lango stated that some of the teenage girls and boys were found naked and kissing each other as they danced to a tune of loud music.

“Inside the room, there were already used condoms. We believe some of the minors were engaging in sex,” Arujo chief stated.

The chief further stated that the minors were found smoking bhang as others were boozing.

“Some minors were dressing up when we got into the house. The house had been turned to a brothel, several bottles of different brands of alcohol were found on the floor and on a table in the house,” he added.

The Arujo government administrator further urged  parents to monitor their children’s whereabouts and movements adding that they will not spare men found eloping with teenage girls.

“Men who will be found walking around with young girls will have to produce documents to show that they are related or else they will be arrested and charged,” he stated.
