AFC Leopards are the latest club to benefit from a walkover after their opponents Nzoia Sugar failed to turn up for their 2pm league match at the Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega on Wednesday.
Nzoia, who had opposed the match venue, had travelled to Mumias Sports Complex where they wanted the match to be played.
However, Leopards as well the match officials were at Bukhungu Stadium for the match, which was to be live on television.
At 2pm, only Leopards players walked to the pitch accompanied by the match officials and were duly handed the 2-0 score line as well as three free points with their opponents nowhere to be seen.
Last week, Mount Kenya United handed a walkover to champions Gor Mahia after boycotting their match citing unpaid monies.
