The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) says all set for the Kibra by-election which will be held on Thursday.
Already ballot papers have been delivered at the Tallying Center at Nairobi City County Inspectorate Training College.
Kibra Constituency voters will troop to polling stations to elect their new MP in a by-election that has witnessed intense campaigns.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in the area after Woodley MCA, Mwangi Njihia’s house was broken into on Wednesday morning.

Njihia has termed the incident as political thuggery. He has previously been attacked by goons along Ngong Road in what he alleged as an attempt by ODM to interfere with the campaigns.
Twenty people have so far been arrested ahead of the mini poll.
Elsewhere, the Nubian community living in Kibra constituency have faulted the national government for side-lining them in matters of development.
Speaking in Makina ward Nubian Council of Elders Hassan Mohammed said that their community has suffered recognition from the government for a long time and are now calling for the elected leaders to intervene.
Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga, late MP Ken Okoth’s Brother Bernard ‘Imran’ Okoth will be contesting the seat on an Orange Democratic Movement party ticket and Eliud Owalo who will be flying the Amani national congress flag are seen as the front runners in the race that has attracted 24 candidates.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, IEBC defended its decision to decline a request by ODM Party to be supplied with the complete register of the Kibra constituency ahead of the November 7 by-election.
The electoral body which has been sued by ODM party maintains that it has already availed the truncated version of the register to the party as provided in the constitution.
Appearing before Justice James Makau, the ODM party through a certificate of urgency pleaded with the court to issue orders compelling IEBC to provide them with the complete register ahead of the by-election.
Through lawyer James Orengo, the ODM party revealed that an out of court settlement with IEBC over the matter failed after it became economical with the truth.
In its submission, IEBC maintained that the Kibra constituency voter register is currently open for the purposes of inspection and verification by voters.
The commission while seeking the court to dismiss the petition by the ODM party said that it is obligated under the law to put in place mechanisms to ensure confidentiality in the management of the register.
