- The 33-year-old has emerged as top transfer target for Arsenal

Cahill was part of the Blues team that emerged victorious in the Europa League following their 4-1 win over Gunners in Azerbaijan last month.
The north Londoners are however the experienced defender to add depth to their back-line ahead of competition next season.
SunSport quoting 90min claims the ex-Blues star could be given an offer to stay in the capital, meanwhile, some other clubs are also interested in signing the defender.

The publication further reveals that the Gunners are face competition from several other Premier League outfits - with West Ham, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa interested in him.
Meanwhile, the opportunity of regular first-team football could prove key, and he is most-likely to get that at Villa Park.
