Fans of the popular KBC Radio Taifa broadcast wished him well during his final show on Tuesday morning.

Celebrated KBC Radio Taifa presenter Bonnie Musambi hosted his last show this morning. Bonnie has been the host of the popular Kiswahili radio broadcast Zinga and an anchor for KBC TV for the past 14 years. Musambi will be replaced by Rashid Mwamkondo and Mwajuma Ally.

Bonnie announced his desire to vie for the Kitui Central Member of Parliament seat back in December last year. “Early next year, I will be exiting KBC which has been my wonderful home for the last 14 years,” he announced in an Instagram post.

In his final post on Twitter on Tuesday morning, Bonnie wrote, “Change, they say is inevitable! Though time has come for me to spread my wings and fly away, I will dearly miss interacting with you all my #Zinga fans every morning! 14 years of Pure Greatness. Thank you ever so much my people.” (SIC)

Bonnie joined the broadcaster in 2007 as a radio host and presented his first bulletin as an anchor in November 2009.

KBC wishes him well in his future endeavours.
