The Speakers of the two Houses of Parliament on Thursday announced that they would take a 30 percent pay cut for the next three months as challenged by President Uhuru Kenyatta to cushion the economy from the vagaries of Covid-19.
The pay cut will only affect National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi and his Senate counterpart Kenneth Lusaka.
