The order blocking politician Mary Wambui from taking up her appointment at the National Employment Authority has been extended.
The order was extended after Wambui through her lawyer said they were yet to be served with the court documents.
The Employment and Labour Relations Court Judge Stephen Radido also directed the Kenya Young Parliamentarian Association who are the petitioners to serve Wambui with court papers before the next mention.
The High Court last month suspended the appointment of the former MP after the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association moved to court to block the former legislator from taking office claiming that she did not qualify for the position.

They argued that the qualifications of a person to be appointed the chairperson of the authority are provided in the National Employment Authority Act and the person should have at least seven years’ experience in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.
Justice Hellen Wasilwa allowed their application and suspended the gazette notice that appointed her into office.
Labour CS Ukur Yatani, through a Gazette notice dated October 14, appointed the former Othaya Member of Parliament Mary Wambui as the chairperson of National Employment Authority, NEA for a period of three years.
The case will be mentioned on November 14.
