Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted that Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo can never be replaced at the Spanish club.
Last summer, after winning three Champions League title, Ronaldo sealed a sensational move to Italian club, Juventus.
Since his departure from the Bernabeu, Real Madrid chiefs have been looking for a good replacement for the ex Manchester United star.
Los Blancos' poor performance this season also paved way for the return of Zinedine Zidane who is now planning for next season as Real Madrid have lost out in all competitions.
Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Eden Hazard have all been mooted for moves to Real Madrid since Ronaldo left the club.
Zidane has now admitted that Real Madrid will never be able to replace Ronaldo regardless of the signing they make.
"Cristiano's situation is one that we can't change, he's gone. We can sign any player and whoever comes in won't do all that Cristiano did," he said.
“That's the way things go in life, he did some great things at this club and we were delighted with him," he added.
