January 25, 2019 – NARC Kenya Party leader, Martha
Karua, has revealed her presidential choice
between Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader, Raila
Odinga, and Deputy President William
Ruto come 2022.
Speaking during an interview, Karua
revealed that she would support Raila over Ruto if
asked to choose.
“I would obviously support Raila over Ruto but Raila hasn’t
declared,” stated Karua.
She expressed her deep hatred for Ruto saying he is the most
unsuitable person to lead the country as President.
“I consider Ruto totally unsuitable, and I have my own reasons. His
supporters have their own reasons. I also have my right to speak out,” Karua
declared.
On the other hand, Karua
explained that Raila was someone she had worked with before, as well as a
person who had worked for the country, noting that the former Prime
Minister has what it takes to lead the country to the next level as President.
“Nobody is perfect but if you
give me the two, I wouldn’t even have to think, I will choose Raila,” she
pronounced.
