Deputy President William Ruto and other Kenyans have today, 26th October, wished President Uhuru Kenyatta a happy 60th birthday.
In his warm message, DP Ruto asked God to continue blessing President Kenyatta as he leads the country.
“Please join me in wishing our leader, the President, His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, a Happy Birthday, and to pray for his success as he guides the nation towards a greater promise. God bless you, sir. To many, many more!” DP Ruto wrote on his Twitter handle.
President Kenyatta was born on this day in 1961, two years before his father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, led the country to independence in 1963.
Kenyans from all walks of life including politicians joined in to wish the President more life of good health.
Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi, Kitui governor Charity Ngilu, Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, National Youth Coordinator Cornelius Ronoh, Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator and former Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga, and Kirinya Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici are among the leaders who wished President Kenyatta a happy birthday.
