Former Switch TV News Anchor and Managing Editor Fredrick Muitiriri has joined TV47 days after leaving the Red cross owned media house.
Taking to his social media on Monday, 10th January, Muitiriri revealed that God had opened a new door for him on Wednesday, 5th January after Switch TV announced the shutdown of its on-air operation in preparation for transition to the digital space.
The move rendered a majority of staff jobless among them Swahili news anchor Muitiriri who has worked for the station for two years.
“On December 31, 2021, my former station officially closed and rendered many of us jobless, Covid-19 manenos (tales), but by January 5, 2022, God had already opened a new door at TV47, home of untold stories!” Wrote Muitiriri.
“I serve a God who neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is a kind and loving God, He is a good God. He’s a miracle-worker! I hope that this will convince you that you can actually give your life to Him to truly direct your paths!”
