Gang linked to 25 robberies, rape case in central Kenya busted

A gang of three men and a woman behind the cases of kidnappings, robberies and rape in the Central region has been arrested.

The woman has a murder case pending before a Nanyuki court while her male colleagues have several robbery cases pending before various courts.

So far, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss George Kinoti, the gang is linked to at least 25 robberies and a rape case.

Eight of the cases were reported in Mathira Sub County, Nyeri County.
