KANU party leader Gideon Moi has released a statement over reports of ditching One Kenya Alliance (OKA) for ODM leader Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja.
In his statement published on Thursday, March 10, on his official social media accounts, Moi stated that he was firmly in OKA adding that he was fully committed to the coalition.
He insisted that he would only join Azimio after structured dialogue with Azimio as advocated for by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"KANU is firmly in OKA and we are united as a coalition. Our position is that our talks with Azimio and any other parties must be structured, open, and honest.
"Therefore, KANU has not changed its position whatsoever as reported by a section of the media. We are committed to the cause of OKA and we are not about to deviate from that path until an amicable position has been attained in the ongoing talks," he stated.
The statement by the Baringo senator comes after leaders within his party advised him to leave OKA and join Raila's team which is expected to hold a mega delagates conference over the weekend.
