Gor-Mahia deny rumours

Gor mahia football club has come out and refuted rumors that Coach Dylan Kerr had a problem with the club leading to his resignation

According to the chairman Ambrose Rachier the club reluctantly accepted resignation by the coach who informed them that he had been offered a new coaching role in South Africa leading to his resignation with 53 managers already having sent their application with interest to coach the Kenyan Premier League champions

Gor Mahia has also unveiled 8 new players as they prepare for the start of the new season in December and also to boost their squad as they are in the CAF champions league.

The players are;
Eric ombija -Striker Kenneth Muguna – Offensive midfielder
Castro Ogendo – Defensive midfielder Nicholas Kipkirui – Striker
Pascal Ogweno – Central defender Shafik Batambuze- Defender
Geoffery Ochieng – Defender Erisa Ssekisambu – Striker

The team has also said that they are not aware of their sponsors Sportpesa plan to pay the players directly as it was indicated yesterday in local dailies and they are awaiting official communication

The chairman has also clarified rumors that key players in the team could be headed to other clubs before the start of the season saying it’s only Francis Kahata who has received interest from a foreign team but Gor Mahia has requested they be communicated to directly.
