DAILY POST: Here are HASSAN JOHO's remarks that may kill the handshake between UHURU and RAILA – The President will be furious Politics 04:08 Saturday January 26, 2019-Mombasa Governor, Hassan Ali Joho, has dismissed accusations that he is behind the expulsion of ODM MPs who are supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in 2022.
On Wednesday, ODM’s Disciplinary Committee kicked Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa and her Msabweni counterpart Suleiman Dori from the party for supporting Ruto’s bid.  Jumwa and Dori blamed Joho for being kicked out of ODM but in his defense, the maverick Governor said all ODM members are aware that ODM leader, Raila Odinga told them to oppose Ruto’s presidency in 2022. “If Raila says we go right we shall all go right and if he says we go left we have all to go left. He (Raila) has told us to support Uhuru and oppose Ruto’s presidential bid that is exactly what we are doing,”Joho said. “I am extremely against the presidential bid of Ruto, this country cannot be led by someone like Ruto because of his bad integrity.” Joho added. The Mombasa county boss further stated that Ruto is a thief since he cannot account for everything he owns like other leaders. President Uhuru Kenyatta may be angry with Joho for calling his deputy a thief.
