How Can You Mute Everyone On Google Meet? – TechMoran

Every day, Google Meet hosts a large number of video conferences. Work presentations and online lectures are examples of video sessions in which one host or speaker presents while the rest of the participants watch.

At a conference with tens of participants, manually muting everyone causes a commotion.

You will not have the same privilege if you are not the meeting host. By muting the browser tab, you can still mute everyone’s audio for yourself. Although each browser has its method for muting tabs, the majority of them involves right-clicking on the tab and then selecting the mute option from the context menu.

It should be noted that this feature is only available on desktop/laptop computers. There is currently no comparable feature for Google Meet mobile app users. They can, however, manually mute users by tapping on the ellipsis button of a specific user and selecting “Mute.”

How To Mute Everyone On Google Meet

  • Create a new Meet session while logged in to Google.
  • In the bottom-right corner of the screen, click the Host Controls button.
  • Make sure the Host Management toggle is turned on.
  • Click the Show Everyone button in the bottom-right corner.
  • “Mute all” should be selected. Then, to close the menu, click the “X.”

You can now mute everyone in a video meeting with a single click.
