Friday, January 25, 2019– Kenyan-born Australian Senator, Lucy Gichuhi,
has exposed her ex-husband, William Gichuhi, for abusing her and cheating on her in tell all book.
In the book titled,
Behind The Smile: From the Slopes of Mount Kenya to Commonwealth Parliament of
Australia, she narrates how her husband of more than 30-years cheated on her
with her sister.

Senator Gichuhi says she
chose to share her story in order to inspire and give hope to girls that they
can still be whatever they want, no matter the challenges they encounter.

the Senator’s daughter, Joy Muringi, has castigated her for using her position to defame her father
whom she describes as a ‘wonderful man’

violence as it has sadly been a part of my extended families so I would never
